It is one of the most famous Art Nouveau paintings in the world, an art treasure worth millions: Gustav Klimts “Adele Bloch Bauer I” – the so-called “Golden Adele”. The magnificent portrait of a Vienna industrialist’s wife has turned into the emblem of the “Vienna Secession”, the Austrian version of Art Nouveau. Adele’s portrait today can be found in the “Neue Galerie” in Manhattan, New York.
„Design by ORION: ADELE“ picks up on Klimt’s splendor and artistic virtuosity. The design elements are adapted from Art Nouveau, as it shaped the city architecture during the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Attention is drawn to the full glass rods that create the circle of light around the illuminant so typical for ORION. “ADELE” fits into private as well as public interiors. ORION has equipped countless rooms with this series throughout the world. Because of the high demand for this product, “ADELE” is ORION’s largest Art Nouveau series with the most extensive number of models in the style of this era.
“ADELE’s” metal parts are cast molded in solid brass. They are available in different finishes: “Antique Brass” hand-shaded or 24-carat gold-plated. The flutes have a square-shaped cross-section. The out-reaching arms can be fitted with full glass rods, clear glass globe shades in diamond-cut or opal-matt glass globe shades. The ceiling lights are fitted with embossed ornate frames.
