In all these years, she has not only impressed with her professional expertise, but also set standards with her humanity and team spirit. In this interview, she looks back on special moments, personal developments and reveals what still motivates her even after such a long time.
What is your name and what is your current position with us?
My name is Elisabeth Perci.
I support our customers from personal sales advice to preparing quotations and order processing.
I am also responsible for organizing and assigning sales tasks and am happy to help if any problems arise.
The satisfaction of our customers is very important to me!
How long have you been working in our company and do you remember your very first day at work?
I started as an apprentice in the accounts department in 1985. On my first day at work, a nice colleague welcomed me in the elevator and I immediately felt “at home”.
What has changed the most in the last 20 years - in the company or in the store?
Of course, everything has been modernized, the store has been rebuilt and some of our customers order online. Nevertheless, today's customers still want specialist advice in our showrooms. That makes us happy.
What has been your best moment in all these years?
The successful completion of various larger projects (hotels, villas, etc.).
What do you enjoy most about your work?
Helping our sales staff, but also our customers, with difficult questions or concerns.
How have the clients changed over the years?
Nowadays, customers usually get information online before they enter a store.
However, they are still very happy to receive personal advice in our showroom.
How do you stay curious and committed - even after 20 years?
I continue to educate myself every day, keep up to date with new developments and maintain an open curiosity for everything new.
What advice would you give to young people starting out in sales today?
I would advise them to get a taste of it and do a trial week. Sales is not for everyone! You have to love dealing with people.
If you were a lamp - which one would you be?
I would be the “Carneval” pendant light, because it creates a pleasant atmosphere with its colors and beautiful warm light.
