Russian Empress Catherine the Great (1762-1796) inspired the creation of classic crystal series KATHARINA, designed and produced by Viennese ORION lighting manufactory. It pays hommage to the Russian empress who led the Tsarist empire to new borders in many respects. Its appearance is characterised by a tall and particularly slender structure exuding lightness despite the rich chandelier crystal. Interiors in classical style harmonise perfectly with the distinguished chandelier from the KATHARINA series, but it can serve as contrasting element in modern interiors. Due to its total height of 153 centimetres, it requires a corresponding ceiling height.
The filigree frame is made of brass with a chrome finish, but is also available in 24-carat gold plating. The precious chandelier crystal is made of SPECTRA® Swarovski® Crystal. Prisms, quails, pearls, square stones and rosettes are combined to create a delicate crystal chandelier.
The dimmable chandelier with a diameter of 55 centimetres is equipped with 6 E14 sockets and can be fitted with 40 watts maximum per socket. LED bulbs are ideal for this due to their efficiency and low maintenance.
